An experimental film about the perception of media during the coronavirus. I was inspired by the feeling of reading coronavirus news but being unable to comprehend it. For example, I’m able to read news about the effects the coronavirus has on the world but I still feel numb to it, like it’s not happening although I know it is. As a teenager that has grown up using the internet, due to the excess of media I have grown to become numb to information.

My film, The Plague life, is a picture dedicated to what once was my morning routine. I tried to heavily rely on still, natural shots to tell the story of my trek to school and life after its shutdown. This was made for carlsbad high schools student production club.
